Meet the Founder


Isabelle brings over 20 years of experience in the education sector, having worked as both an educator and teacher trainer in the UK. Her career has centred on developing literacy and oracy skills in young people, and she has contributed to pilot programmes with The Bell Foundation and led training initiatives for The British Association of Independent Schools with International Students.​
With a strong background in supporting international students—including experience in Africa and South America—Isabelle has worked extensively with young people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She holds expertise in a range of curricula and associated qualifications, particularly in the context of bilingual learners and preparation for secondary and post-secondary education.​ Isabelle has a PGCE from the Institute of Education, London, and a Master's degree in International Development from SOAS, University of London.

Since relocating to Portugal with her three school-aged children, Isabelle has experienced first-hand the challenges and opportunities that come with transitioning into a new educational system, language, and culture. This journey has deepened her commitment to empowering parents and students alike, and to fostering the skills that help young people thrive across languages and borders.
